16th July 2019 Historical day for Malaysia Lawmaker voting age changed to 18 from 21

16th July 2019 was an historical day for Malaysia as Lawmakers passed a bill to lower  the voting age to 18 from 21. This also means that 18-year olds can be nominated to contest in the General Elections and be a lawmaker if voted in. Imagine the generational diversity that will occur with-in Parliament in the future. We will have leaders of various age’s and different groups determining the future of the country. Is Malaysia ready for this change? Are Malaysian corporates even ready to embrace this generational diversity in their organizations. Are leaders equipped with knowledge and skills to handle generational diversity issues?
